Saturday, September 27, 2025, Germantown’s Historic Peoples’ Festival presents “Love, Peace & Increase”; A transformative indoor event produced by The Nile Gardens and The Layers & Levels Collective.  This is an Intergenerational experience focusing on Whole-listic wellness. We believe in addressing the needs of the Whole human being by providing resources for Mental, Physical, Spiritual & Financial needs.  The event space will provide access to unique products and services while you’re educated and entertained. You will also have access to healthy food, beverages and nutritional information to help elevate your current state of being. “This event will be available online for those not able to join us in person.

Event Background: The People’s Festival was founded in 1977 by Frank R. Jones and Malachai Moore (Originally as an annual Flea Market). After the passing of Mr. Jones in 2005, the event was continued each year by his event heir, Ahlia Love. The Peoples’ Festival, known for hosting a two day crowd of 8 to 10,000 attendees remained in Germantown’s Historic Vernon Park until August 2010. In an effort to continue creating opportunities for the grassroot, wholistic, and business communities to unite, “Love, Peace & Increase” was born. This event, co-created by The Nile Gardens and The Layers & Levels Collective meets that need by cultivating the best talent that Germantown and Philadelphia at large have to offer.
